Try not to eat too much of anything that comes in a box or can and has ingredients that are hard to pronounce. Avoid foods that contain the contaminating ingredients discussed in this chapter. Rather than providing you with a long list of foods to avoid, the best advice I can give you is to eat your fill of the foods on the magnetic diet shopping list. Fill up with these foods and there won’t be much room for the bad stuff.
Now that we’ve covered that bad stuff, let’s examine the properties of healthy magnetism.
As a rule, limit your sodium consumption to 1,500 milligrams a day, or about 3/4 of a teaspoon of salt. It’s also a good idea for people over 50 to try to stay at around 1,200 milligrams.
